One day while surfing one of the Weight Watchers message boards, I read a lady's profile and her sparkpage was linked to it. I clicked on it and that click opened up a whole new world that I never knew existed. This place is a dream come true for someone like me. I signed up right away and haven't looked back. I can't believe this site is free! I believe it's the best weight loss tool out there today. It has all you need for achieving your goals!



For those who have just started with this website, I know it can feel overwhelming and at times a bit frustrating. But you don't have to do it all in one day. Remember, weight loss is a lifelong process and it's going to take time to get to your goals. Enjoy it while you are experiencing it. There's TONS to do on the site but that's the great part about it. There's always something new on here even after a year of being here. :)

I'm a graduate of the Couch to 5K program (Oct 10, 07) I completed my first 5K run on Nov 3, '07.

On Nov 24th '07, I injured my knee with an overuse injury called Iliotibial Band Syndrome (ITBS) and it put me back on the couch for a while until I could use the elliptical to get it moving again. After the first week of March '08, I started running again after not feeling any pain from my knee.



I've learned this is a journey and not a diet or a fad. I have fallen off the wagon more times than I can count since I've started using SP but I don't give up. I get right back on track with the boards and tracking everything and burning off those unwanted extra calories. All of the support I get through everyone on this site is invaluable. You all have an incredible impact on each and every one of us. You are what makes this community great!

~Ran my 2nd 5K on the treadmill since I couldn't get the time off from work to run the Howlin' at the Moon 5K run. My running time was 36:55 with a speed of 5.1 mph for over half way then went 5.0 mph after that.

You need some motivation, think about this we are both 20 lbs from our goal weight totally can do it and I push my girls in the stroller 3 days a week because even though I am sick and the docs don't have a def answer I'm trying to stay healthy for my girls
