Hi! I'm Jes!

I haven't gotten off to a very good start so far this year. I need to get serious about making time to exercise.
My goals include eating healthier and being more active; I want to get my weight down between 130-135. I want to be toned and fit rather than skinny, so the weight isn't as important as how I feel about my body. Weight is just the easiest to put a firm number on, so that's what I'm going with.
I plan to wake up earlier, be more productive, and waste less time.

I'm hoping to make a career change this year and to move closer to my step-kids and family. I intend to spend less time in front of a screen and more time focusing on things that really matter.
I want to spend more time with my husband, family, and friends.
All in all, I want to focus on improving myself and becoming the best version of me that I can.

I'm married to an amazing man with 2 wonderful kids & a beautiful granddaughter. I am so lucky to have all of them in my life!

Other Information:
I'm a bookworm, a country music fan, and a total country girl! I grew up riding horseback and can't wait until the day that I can afford to get back to it. My dream home is a rustic house surrounded by open land full of pets, family, love, and laughter!

Thank you for the comment on my blog yesterday! I have tried taking measurements and pictures and I don't see any difference. The good thing that I'm trying to focus on is despite a gain on the scale I haven't seen a gain on inches but I also haven't seen a LOSS of inches either.
I know that going below 1200 is bad and I'm going to try not to but I honestly don't know what else to do. I should contact a nutritionist but I just don't have the money for that. I think my plan is to try to do more fruits and see if that helps.

I thought that Arrow was one of them since you commented on my status about it. We LOVE the show a lot. I feel like a teenager when I watch it. I'm like "Ohh I love Oliver and Felicity and love how Diggle is totally in on shipping them too." haha

I watch Grimm, New Girl, and 2 Broke Girls but I'm always a season behind on that. He loves Shark Tank and we both love Big Bang Theory and Walking Dead.

I seriously would probably be much thinner if Netflix didn't exist.
