Closer to my goal weight

Hi, I am 30 and I have been on this journey for about 3 years with a lot of ups and downs. I went down to from 206 to 161 and I gained 20lbs back and over the last 6 months I lost 14 of the lbs again. I am still working toward my goal of weighing 150 and I am so close I can taste it. But do you know what has worked for me the most? Not checking my weight too often. I am focusing on how I feel, how my clothes fit, how much energy I have, ect... And when I loose weight... I went down to from 206 to 161 and I gained 20lbs back and over the last 6 months I lost 14 of the lbs again. I am still working toward my goal of weighing 150 and I am so close I can taste it. But do you know what has worked for me the most? Not checking my weight too often. I am focusing on how I feel, how my clothes fit, how much energy I have, ect... And when I loose weight... I jump for joy. But I feel like I look great now and I am just working more on toning then loosing weight because if I tone my body then the weight will naturally come off. And I have proved this over the last 6 months. I am eating more healthy but I do get my crazy cravings every now and then.

My Goals:
To tone up, tighten up, loose weight, and get healthy for me!

My Program:
I go to my local gym 5-6 days a week for 1-2 hours a day. I take every class that is included in the gym for free because I don't know how to work out on my own yet. Also I am tracking my calories to make sure that I don't eat too many.

The road to losing 150 pounds has been so much easier to travel along with the support and understanding of so many wonderful people on SparkPeople. It is amazing how inspiration can spread from you sometimes and then come back to you other times right when you need it. Thanks for the encouragement along the way.

Thanks for my wardrobe goodie! I put on another pair of jeans yesterday and had the same "pulling em' up all day" issue! Good signs of weight loss, but all I hear is "cha ching!" Hate to go buy jeans, considering it's Summer and I'll still be losing weight hopefully. I guess I'll stick it out for a bit longer. I'll check the status of size when Summer has come to an end and Fall begins.
