NO DAY BUT TODAY!

I've been a member of SparkPeople since January 2006. I lost 25lbs using SP and I was so close to my goal and so happy with my lifestyle! But then summer came along and it all flew out the window. BOO!

I gained back 10 lbs over the summer. Now I am 25 lbs away from my goal weight, but I really just want to get back to where I was before! I felt so great and was so happy. Right now I am discouraged and unhappy. I'm trying to turn things around for myself right now.

My Goals:
Heaviest weight: 185 lbs.

SP Starting weight: 175 lbs.

Lowest weight: 150 lbs.

I'm currently 161 lbs.

My main goal right now is to get back to my lowest weight - 150 lbs. I didn't think this would be so difficult! I did it before, why can't I do it again?!?

From there my ultimate goal weight is 135 lbs.

(I'm not so much focused on the number, I just have a certain way that I want to look and I associate it with this weight)

My workout goal is to fit a good, consistent workout into my crazy schedule right now. Right now it is hard for me to find time to get to the gym.

I have been running a few 5Ks and my goal each race to improve my time. Eventually I'd like to run a 10K.





My Program:
Cardio - Turbo Kickbox class at my gym, elliptical and running on the treadmill



Weight training - We have a weight bench in our garage and I''m using a split weight training routine...I focus on a different body part each workout.

I'm a 28 year old high school English teacher. I live in Southern California with my husband.

There's a team called Victoriaís Secret Angels and a new team called SP Hotties. Thought you would be interested in joining. The purpose of the VS team is to help motivate everyone to finally get fit and be healthy with challenges and daily/ weekly weigh ins as well as sharing beauty, fashion, and fitness secrets and trends.
