Learning to live.

Over the past 2 years I have successfully lost and maintained a 140 pound weight loss. I am trying to learn how to live life. It is all about balance and I need to get a little more of that back. These past 2 years have been a whirlwind of emotions and have given me a plethora of learning experiences and now I just want to be able to live, stay healthy and treat my body how it deserves to be treated.

Still doing amazing keeping within my goal range, running, ...

Update *1/1/15
Maintenance is finally feeling "normal". I''m learning how to enjoy treats, in moderation of course, and just throughly loving life.

My goals are to maintain the weight loss I've achieved.

Stay between 140-160 lbs.

Run 10 Miles Straight- *DONE 4/13/13

Do 100 "man" push ups

Be able to do a pull up

Run a 10K??

Run 625+ miles in 2013
*Ran 1030!

2014 GOALS

1/2 Marathon- Signed up for 5/17/14
*Done!! Finished in 1:56:42

Run a 10k
*Done 7/4/14 in 50:49

5k with the family

Do 1 Pull Up
*Success!!!!

My Program:
Workout 3+ times a week

Strength Training!!!!

Eat clean and healthy (most of the time)

1200-1500 calories a day (or more depending on the day)

Hiya my lovely. Thankyou for your comment. Maybe when it took you 3 months to lose 15 pounds it was because at that stage you were still finding your way around how to eat healthily. The thing is, I KNOW what works and I always lose the same amount of weight in the first month of me starting (which has been various times as you know). Even back in January I lost 12 pounds in one month so I don't know why this time for the first time nothing is happening. Not giving up though! emoticon emoticon

Thanks for the details! I might decide to do something like that as well. I have already come to the conclusion that while strength training is good and a necessary part of my workouts, I don't see results unless I am also getting my running in. I am almost afraid to skip a run anymore because the cause and effect seems so real.

Hi, Jessi! I added you as a Sparkfriend; I hope you don't mind, but I am almost exactly where you started 3 years ago. I'm just getting started, but I'm hopeful that some day, when I get to where you are now, I will be able to keep the weight off as well.
