Wow. I haven't been on Spark in a looong time, and SO much has changed! I've got a new guy, we had a baby and my other two kids have been steadily growing. I am not living in a healthy household. Billy, my boyfriend, well, he isn't exactly counting calories, but he has said that he will eat salad anytime I make it. I hope he's ready... :) I'm going to college 3 days a week too.. I'm not a homebody anymore. :))

Billy, my boyfriend, well, he isn't exactly counting calories, but he has said that he will eat salad anytime I make it. I hope he's ready... :) I'm going to college 3 days a week too.. I'm not a homebody anymore. :))

So. Like I said, I had another baby and that means I put on a few (more than a few) pounds. Now I'm back and ready to rock and roll once again, but this time, my goal is 165 instead of 180. and I know I will get there in a healthy manner and with a quickness.

~What follows is from my previous successful time on sparkpeople. ~

At the Beginning of my weight loss 2007::: (233lbs)
My nephew Shawn and I are doing a personal Biggest Loser competition.. In 12 weeks, (April 19th) whoever loses the biggest % of weight wins the 100 dollar pot.
When I joined sparkpeople, I didn't know the impact that this website would have on my weight loss.. I noticed that I hadn't logged on to myspace in 2 days. Before sparkpeople, I would go there several times a day. I'm becoming addicted, and I don't think that could happen if it wasn't working, and if I hadn't met all the awesome ppl's on here who no doubt help guide me on my journey. This website is genius.

UPDATE: (4-21-08) My biggest loser challenge is over, I won of course.. LOL I am currently down 40 pounds in 12 weeks, and have lost about 17% of my total body weight. I'm feeling good, and new and fulfilled.


So far, this has been an incredible experience! I LOVE how clothes I once dreamed about actually fit!!! I really like getting to change my display image here on spark too.. It keeps me working hard so I can use the next cute one I've found. My headaches have disappeared unless I splurge and have caffeine. My back doesn't hurt when I wake up, I'm not as moody, I just feel better. I can't hardly wait to see how I will feel another 20 pounds from now. I have 10 to go before I hit the 50 pound loss milestone, and I'm getting an urge to go get on my treadmill just thinking about it. HAHA. I'll update again soon. Perhaps when I can say I'm 50 pounds lighter!

Update. Today, May 26th, I became 50 pounds lighter. It really took me by surprise, but I am so happy about it. I had been slacking for a few weeks, ( you can read about it in the blogs) so to bounce back with this sort of comeback was so nice. I am feeling good, getting looks.. You know. I have noticed guys staring at me lately. I am married, but lemme tell you. It feels good to know that I am not invisible anymore. :)

Update: September 24th. After a long, very fun-filled, (and alcohol-filled) summer, I am ashamed to report I have gained 7 pounds back. Grr. It's alright though, I'll get back down there and then some, and soon. When I first started losing weight, I was so focused. These days it has been harder to retain that focus, and I am really working on getting it back. Hopefully I'll find it today. I have been playing tennis almost daily, which makes me sweat like a hog, so hopefully that in itself will help me drop a few. I need to remember to drink all my water, which I won't lie, is the hardest part of all of this. I'll get there, I know I can, I know I can, I know I WILL!! :)

Update. 10/10/08 I am back down to where I was before the long, fun, alcohol filled summer. A pound less actually. 181.5. 51.5 pounds DONE! I've finally started coming to my senses and making better choices. Still not the best but so so much better. I've lost 22% of myself so far. I have a small goal, of 25 % GONE, and I am 6.5 pounds away from achieving it. I'm back in the game, and I'm gonna win!

Hopefully if you are new and reading this, or in a struggle somewhere along the way, you are realizing that maybe, just maybe you can do this. I remember when I had my moment too. I was just like, "These people are just like me, only they're actually doing something for themselves!!!!" It was my Ahhh Moment.
I guess my mind just needed to get with the program.. Once I wholly put my mind to it, the weight just started falling off. I had to have my mind right though. Basically, dig deep. BELIEVE IN YOU! You can do it. You know you want to. Come on! :)

My Program:
Basically, I know I need to eat real food and keep it balanced. I will watch what I eat. I will steer clear of processed junk. I will stay away from white stuff. I will stay away from butter, oil, salt, and sugar. Stevia will be my new best friend(again).

Also.. my workout regiment is basically 45 minutes on the elliptical, 3 or 4 days a week. I don't like strength training, so quite frankly, I won't be doing any.

I will blog on Spark often. Maybe not daily, but several times a week at least.

This is what worked for me before when I lost 40 pounds in 12 weeks. Thats what I'll do again.

Personal Information:
I live in Yukon Oklahoma

I have 3 kids, Zach is 10, Makayla is 7 and Dustee Rose is 4 months.

I'm a SAHM, but I do go to college part time.

I have an awesome man named Billy who will totally support me in my quest for smaller jeans.




Other Information:

I love being with my family. I'm loving being a new mommy again though I never thought I would say that before she got here. I love my history class.. Odd.
I love going to the lake house and swimming. I love the elliptical. Other things I like include:
