October 28, 2008 -- thank you thank you THANK YOU Doneys for naming me Done Gal O' The Day and somewhere in there I was named a Motivator as well. I can hardly believe it. Today's song is for you.

February 17, 2009 -- thank you thank you THANK YOU Kind Buds for naming me Kind Buddy O' The Week. Yesterday's song, if I may, is for you. Party on! :)

March 25, 2009 -- thank you thank you THANK YOU for naming me the Spark Motivator of the Day! How the heck did THAT happen? Seriously, I am humbled and grateful and newly motivated and trying to think of how I'm going to thank everyone individually. This may involve dog slobber. Or, if you prefer, coupons for free smart aleck comments. ;)

April 21, 2009 -- I was interviewed (3 times!) on GMTV about my experiences with weight loss and alli. Here's a link to the first interview: http://www.gm.tv/index.cfm?articleid=34368
Pics are in my photo gallery.

July 5, 2009 -- my second 5K, at Artesani Park (it was actually 3.1 miles)! My time was 43 minutes, 36 seconds. YES, I shaved off over 20 minutes from my older time. DAY-um!

September 6, 2009 -- Spark People Motivator o' the Day!

September 7, 2009 -- Bad Habit Productions 5K! 4 seconds less than my previous personal best time!

October 3, 2009 -- Good Samaritans' Run for Someone Else's Life 5K! Over a minute better than my previous personal best time!

My Goals:
200 lbs. have to go (I'm having a fire sale). 163 gone so far. BMI: 29.5.
-- For my older goals, see the nifty chart in my gallery! Double-click it to enlarge. ---
*** Eleventh goal of 10 more off. A work in progress. Once I make it, I will have lost 166 lbs., AKA about 48% of my original weight.

*My long-term goal is 146. Only 37 lbs. to go! Come count down with me!*

My Program:
Diet, exercise (resistance bands, Joyce Vedral's 20-minute daily workout book, a big honkin' yellow stability ball, the gym and walking, a touch of Pilates) and I used to take alli. Oh and my own will, your love, you wonderful Sparkies, plus the ability to lie to myself about why chocolate is evil.

I am bigger than a breadbox. I am ... The Data Empress AKA The Access Whisperer. Hire me! Pretty please?!

I am also rapidly becoming a cute person, if I do say so m'self.

Fly-Catching: The Official Sport of Corporate Meetings.

Great story! It's also a great analogy for some of the knife-twisting and waste of time/resources for personal vendettas I've seen in the past that make even brief meetings a groaning downer... I love meetings when everyone cheers in the end!

Wonder if the fly ever thought about McGyvering up the straw toward freedom? emoticon

Hiya girlie,

I think we need a blog from you!

Milly and I are both on the mend. She is not limping. I am snuffling less. Did I tell you I decided it was like MASH around here and DH is Hotlips?

hmmm....you have a good point about this buying a little something every week. I do need stuff, even if it is just eye shawdow that I really do need some. With working 2 jobs, it shouldn't hurt. A book here, some bronzer there, an undershirt or two there ohh and some socks! lol I have been meaning to make a list of things I need. lol

And everytime that gust of wind hits you and your cold turning red, just say the "HAWK is out!!" lol
