I tend to be a perfectionist in most things I take on - dieting included. This tendency coupled with my all-or-nothing personality has resulted in failed diets and additional pounds again and again, as I would allow one slip-up to derail all of my positive efforts. AUGUST 2011 -3.5 pounds (-3.5 total) SEPTEMBER 2011 -10.5 pounds (-14 total) OCTOBER 2011 -5 pounds (-19 total) HOLIDAYS +9.5 pounds (-9.5 total) ***SPARKED*** JANUARY -4.7 pounds (-14.2 total) FEBRUARY -6 pounds (-20.2 total) MARCH -3.2 pounds (23.4 total) APRIL -5.8 pounds (29.2 total) MAY (so far) -4.6 pounds (33.8 total) AND THEN WE MOVED...AND I STOPPED WORKING OUT...AND STARTED EATING A LOT MORE.... +29.2 (-4 total) - I could get upset at myself for falling off of the wagon, or I can celebrate my decision to get back up...I choose to celebrate! FEBRUARY (so far) -5.4 pounds (9.4 total)

My Goals:
I want to lose 50 pounds by my 33rd birthday to gain confidence and comfort in my own skin ~ and so shopping becomes a reward instead of a punishment!
My Program:
I use the nutrition counter daily, and I follow the spark-recommended calorie limits 6 days per week. I take Fridays off. I exercise EVERY DAY for at least 30 minutes. I use the elliptical during the week and then I walk and bike on the weekends.
