Wow - How long have I been on Spark?! My 6 year Sparkversary is coming up in January, 2014! I am struggling with my motivation, but I keep coming back. I have lost and gained and lost again but I keep learning. I am meeting really interesting people who are so supportive.

I am recommitting myself to my weight loss journey. This may be the 11th time... but I am not giving up! I will be healthy!

2013 has been an unproductive year but I am setting some new goals to take start the holidays with and move forward into 2014! I HAVE TO STOP YOYOING!!!! I need to learn to put me first and make time to exercise everyday! Even if it is to take the dog for a walk.. I need to move! I need to stop eating so much sugar!
It won't kill me, it may save me!

More about myself:
I am a mother of 3 and I need to finally lose all the weight I have gained with each pregnancy. Since my oldest is off at college, it is about time! I was born and raised in NJ. When my husband and I got married we moved to NY State and lived there for 15 years. Hubby's job moved our family to GA 9 years ago.

I love it here in GA now, but it took some time. I ate and was lonely for a while. I am slowly regaining my life!

Fitness Minutes: 123,302

My Goals:
1. Learn to eat healthy consistently.
2. Exercise on a regular basis, not sporadically.
3. Learn to accept myself with my faults and be happy.

4. To be able to run a 5K!
5. Walk a 5K faster than 45 minutes.

11/24 - walked 3.2 miles (5K) in 53.28


My Program:
1. Following a modified South Beach diet.
2. Adding more calcuim to my diet for the menopause.
3. Walking as much as possible.
4. Working out on the Elliptical when I can't get out to walk.
5. Need to add in weight training.



Personal Information:
Born and raised in NJ, married and moved to NY, moved to GA in 2004 with hubby's job transfer.

I have been married 23 years! I love my hubby!
My mom taught me to knit when I was a young girl. My grandmother taught me to sew on a machine when I was a young girl.
