My Whole World is About to Change . . .
. . . But in a good way, now that I have taken control of it. (8/8/08) It's been over a year since I updated this info, and let me tell ya SO much has changed! I started with SparkPeople in July '07 weighing in at 250 lbs! I just decided one day that enough was enough. . . . But in a good way, now that I have taken control of it. (8/8/08) It's been over a year since I updated this info, and let me tell ya SO much has changed! I started with SparkPeople in July '07 weighing in at 250 lbs! I just decided one day that enough was enough. I got online and started researching what it is that I needed to do in order to really loose the weight. I came across endless sites that offered just that information, but for a price. I keep looking, determined that the information I needed was out there somewhere. Then I came across this AWESOME website. My husband (ylexus) and I started following this plan together. The first week I lost 7 lbs! I knew that it was probably mostly water weight but that was just the motivation I needed at just the right time to keep me going, and I did just that. I was very careful with my nutrition, and I seriously couldn’t do it without the tools that I had available to me from SP. I did lots of cardio, and eventually started with the strength training. From July to January (08) I did great with only minor bumps in my way. Then I hit my first plateau. I knew it was coming eventually so I continued to work hard and not give up, I finally broke through that and got down to 183 lbs. 67 lbs gone gone gone for good! We recently moved from FL to TX, and wow it has been such a major change for me. I miss my friends and family, even my old job. I miss my workout routine, and that eating on a schedule was like second nature. I have been away from SP for 2 months now, and I GAINED 5 LBS. I want to start over. I want to log everything I eat, and get out there and burn those calories. I want to meet people on here who will look at my food or exercise log and tell me to “step it up” or ask why I “didn’t do any cardio today?” I want to meet people who are going through a similar struggle and needs me to keep them accountable for reaching their goals. I want to lose that last 28 lbs. I want to be successful.

My Program:
Ok since starting with Sp I have made minor changes but in a major way. 1. Eat a high fiber breakfast every day, and continue to eat every 3 hrs 2. Only drink water 3. No eating after 7:30pm 4. Do cardio 6 days a week 5. Strength train 4 days a week 6. Log onto SP multiple times a day, read the articles, track my food , fitness & other goals. I post on the message boards and use the site for everything it has to offer. I started out not having a clue what I was doing but everyday I learned something new. I have been losing weight and I feel great.
