Hi! As you probably have guessed, my name is Jenn. I was put in the obese category on the BMI chart. I have given myself a year to lose 50 pounds, but life does have its bumps along the road, so more like a year and a half....so let's do this!

My Goals:
My only goals that I'm setting for the next 6 months are:
-To exercise the best I can
-To use portion control
-TRACK!

My Program:
Portion control and eating in moderation is the key for me. Tracking my calories and fitness minutes really helps. My goal is to reach my goal weight in 6 more months I need to exercise 120 minutes/wk. My focus is of course losing weight but also gaining strength.

I have been ok. Getting over a bad head cold and slacking a little in the sparking department, but i will get back on track hopefully Monday. I have been staying in the house because we have been getting lots of rain and a little snow too.

Hello- thank you for adding me as a spark friend. I am new to this whole techny diet thing, so I am learning as I go. You had asked on my blog what a FITBIT is. it's a computerized pedometer that counts steps, calories, activities and sleep patterns. I learned about it on the 10,000 step message board.
