a place to get to know what makes me tick!

Well, dusting my spark account off again! from my last check in I have lost 24 lbs, but mostly from just getting off Lyrica.

About Lyrica. It has really messed up my eyes, and right now I am getting ready for a second opinion appointment next week because I have been diagnosed with cataracts at 39 yrs old and need surgery to correct it.

About Lyrica. It has really messed up my eyes, and right now I am getting ready for a second opinion appointment next week because I have been diagnosed with cataracts at 39 yrs old and need surgery to correct it.

My husband has gained weight since getting an "office job" 4 years ago, and last year he did the "biggest loser weight loss challenge" at work and lost down to 175. He looked great. Then promptly gained it all back! He's doing the challenge again (right now) and I'm ready to support him, and we got a recumbent bike this weekend. I have done 2 1-hour sessions on it so far!

I am trying to get into a groove and get some weight off before I have to have my eye surgery so that I can at least keep up with my eating right while recouperating. They told me yesterday, no exercise for 1-2 weeks after my eye surgery. :( So, 1-2 weeks PER EYE.

I will have to update some pics as everyone has gotten MUCH older since 2006 (since those pics I see right now! ;)

My Goals:
To continue down my journey to better health, and to begin a cardio and toning routine that will help me to become the fit mother I want to be

My Program:
I have many food allergies: dairy, nuts, beans, apples, carrots, peaches, oats, possibly corn, etc. So that really limits my food choices. But I have found that what really works for me is a lower carb diet. I try to keep my carbs between 30 and 50 g per day (or so I think- will see when I start tracking it!) I have cut out white as much as I can, and am so happy for it! It really helps my fibromyalgia too!

Personal Information:
I live in TN, I work part time as an executive assistant for a gentleman who is starting a new business. We will start it up in April. I have 3 girls and a wonderful hubby! jennywren93@comcast.net yahooid jhogan93 aim id jennywren1993

"Beautiful Woman Award! Once you've been given this award, you have to paste it on the wall of 8 women who deserve it. If you receive more than 3, you know you're really beautiful! If you break the chain, nothing will happen, but it's always good to know someone thinks you're beautiful inside and out"

You ever sat in front of a fire? Just as it starts up? Theirs a spark and then, like a domino effect it engulfs and turns into a rage of yellow, orange, blue and red....We all start as a small spark and as we progress we too engulf into a raging fire ball....so long as we feed the fire we will continue to burn but, once neglected we burn out.....So, feed your fire....keep it burning! emoticon

I find Cymbalta and Acupunture work for my Fibro. I also found when I don't eat what I am allergic to, then I suffer less with Fibro pain and symptoms. Hope this helps you.
