I did it!

In 2007 I lost 17 lbs just by changing my eating habits with the help of Sparkpeople.com. Since then I had some medical problems and gained the weight back, and had a lot of trouble getting it back off. I think my body was used to me eating healthy, so I needed something extra to get the weight loss going! In July 2010 I joined the gym and started with one kickboxing class per week. Now I have gone from a 14 to a 4, lost 33 pounds, and spend up to 8 hours a week at the gym kickboxing, ...

I'm proof that it can be done and it does get easier! It took a lot of work at teh gym and messing with my food intake, but once it got going, the weight fell off, and I've never felt better about myself :-)

Jenn - I know you've been running a lot, have you gotten into biking? It's my new favorite workout. You'd have to invest in a decent bike but I am so loving it!
