Almost 4 years ago, I had a pulmonary embolism and was given cpr for over an hour and a half and my husband and family had to wait at the ER and see if I would live or die. I made it and I spent the next 6 weeks in a varying stage of coma... I had a feeding tube, a respirator and then a trach... I had no recollection of the actual events but since then I have gone through 5 corrective surgeries and now, all I am on is a generic blood thinner. I am so grateful for every day... EVERYONE SHOULD ...

EVERYONE SHOULD TREAT EACH DAY AS A GIFT... there is no guarantee for tomorrow! At the end of each day, we need to say how grateful we are for each and every moment...good or bad.

I have hired a personal trainer to help me rebuild some muscle mass that I lost after a long medical year, and I attend at least 3 exercise classes a week (yoga, cycling or Zumba)
