Looking Ahead to Summer, Changing Me

Formerly known as JennKHealth.

Having a tough time lately. Scale told me I put on 13 pounds this month. I have to figure out what's going on now and fix things. Not the Summer I was expecting.

I am more than what my scale tells me. I am strong and fit on the inside and 2014 is a year of great changes for me.

My Goals:
Shed body fat.

Watch my measurements drop, I just want to be smaller all around.

Develop my muscle tone, it's under there I just need to give it a chance.

Develop new eating habits that are life long and good for my body.

Leave old habits and my old lifestyle behind.

Never go above 160lbs ever again, that will be my ceiling weight.

Find a healthy weight I can maintain for a life time.

My Program:
Cardio 3 to 5 days every week for at least 30 mins.

Weight training at least 3 days a week.

Smaller meals throughout the day, high protein, lower carbs. Less empty calories, more dense nutrition.

Yoga, meditation, sauna, massage and other stress reduction techniques to maintain mental health as well as physical health.

Increase my outdoor workouts.

Personal Information:
Went from 195 down to 159 and now I'm back up to 180 and starting over. It's been hard lately and I'm learning how to make this work.

Starting over and making a new life for myself.

Other Information:
Trying to change my entire life from the bottom up. Trying to leave behind negative habits and behaviors and become a better, healthier, more peaceful person. I'm not giving up on myself again this time, I'm sticking with this Spark name and being true to me.

It sounds like we're "that week" twinsies. I had a hard time staying motivated these past two days (oh, who am I kidding? It's a miracle that there's any food left in the house. hee hee) It's a nice Saturday so far, though, so I'll be getting out after breakfast.

I hope you're having a fabulous start to your weekend! Want to shoot for getting at least two miles in today?

I'm afraid that if I give permission to myself to fall off the radar just this once, I might completely flake, so...hi! How was your Wednesday? I took it easy, since I think I went a little nutty with my run and Walk of Epic Proportions yesterday. Tomorrow is more running, yoga, and spinning.
