Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee!

I have always been focused and competitive - but it has usually meant putting some mental endeavor over my physical health, i.e. cram for a test, but give up sleep. Study hard, but have no time to exercise. Turn in the *best* assignment, but not have time to make myself a healthy dinner.

Now I'm 28, and need to figure out how to get the same adrenaline rush from picking the healthy choice.. while maintaining a competitive job and giving my husband more than 0% of my attention.

My Goals:
Read an intellectual paper each week. Do a craft each week. Get moving again - to feel more energy, to fit back into my old jeans, and to help my back pain.

My Program:
Picking what I'm comfortable with out of various diets, etc. That is actually what drew me to SparkPeople - crazy diet strategies won't work. If I'm not ahead, I feel behind & want to throw in the towel. I need to make incremental improvements that I can live in.

Step 1: More Water, stretch every day, and get my old well-rounded lifestyle back in order.

Step 2: I'll worry about that tomorrow.
