Time for a change

When I started, I was 285. I am now 268 (sometimes a little lower, but that's what I am today). It has taken me over a year to lose just shy of 20 lbs.

I wrote this back when I was 268 and I'm still hovering around that weight, almost a year later.

I'm serious this time. I've been sick and it has really halted my progress. Exercise is difficult. Eating is comfort for me. Eating helps me relax. Eating is the one thing that I seem to really enjoy.

But it's killing my spirit to look in the mirror every day and be so unhappy with what I see. It is time for a change.

It was really great! I really feel like I belong there and hope that I can keep making room in my schedule to stop by there and make use of what a fantastic place it is. emoticon

Thanks for your comment, Jen! Boy, that really was a slap in the face (in a good way!) It has been weeks since I tracked my food and at least a week since I worked out when I saw your comment.

What a wake-up call!
