I have always been the fit fat girl. I am tired of people under estimating my fitness because I have what I call "extra padding" I am determined to reach my goals this time! I became Certified Personal Trainer as well as a Certified Pre and Post Natal Fitness Trainer because I not only wanted to help myself overcome my long existing weight issues, I wanted to help others. I especially want to help pregnant women because pregnancy is such a demanding time in a woman's life and a time of joy and happiness, as well as time where giving into the cravings and fatigue can lead to an unhealthy lifestyle if not recognized and changed. Even though I am a trainer I have moments of weakness too. Sometimes I don't feel like going to the gym or feel like eating junk. There are times when I need the support and encouragement of others as well as being accountable for the food choices I make and the exercise I do, that's why I love SparkPeople. The last week of September 2010, I became Paleo/Primal. I eat high amounts of fat and low amounts of carbs. I have never felt better in my life. I have also embarked on a very challenging, yet rewarding business. I have opened up my very own (actually I co-own/instruct) a fitness BootCamp; PeakFit BootCamp!!
