Just Me.....trying to get healthy

My name is Jennifer I want to live a healthier lifestyle. When I was younger I had a fast metabolism and then it slowed down and the pounds packed on. I seem to always start out well when I decide to lose weight and I see progress and then I get too comfortable and lose motivation.

I am married to a wonderful man who loves me no matter what size I am but when your not feeling comfortable in your own body you know it's time to do something about it.

Upate 02/25/09
Well after a Dr. Appt in January and I found out my cholesterol was high and the Dr. gave me 6 months to see what I can do with my weight and cholesterol on my own before prescribing medication. I have since then re-acquainted myself with Sparkpeople, my treadmill, and a healthier eating lifestyle. Since January 22nd I have lost 12 lbs and feel great. I workout an hour a night on the treadmill and do strength training every other day.

My Program:
I am tracking my food and watching what I am eating and trying to stay within my recommended daily goals.

I am drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day and strive for more

I am trying to work exercise into my schedule doing some type of strength training 3 days a week and also try to work in Cardio 7 times a week

Born and raised in a small fishing town in Gloucester, MA and moved to Greenville, SC in 2005.
