Jan 2010, my boyfriend and I just booked a trip, I got on the scale and was horrified. I weighed in at 169 my heaviest ever. How had I let it come to this? Since then I have been on a never ending battle with weight loss. I am happy to say a little over a year later I am down to 146lbs and feeling so much better. I have purpose. I'm not lazy and things just feel better.
That being said I am here to lose that last couple lbs and meet great people along the way. This is a lifestyle change ...

Hey, I just saw your comment on my status update!

I sometimes (not always!) have a hard time hitting my minimum Calories for the day because my range is very high: 1530-1880! I run about 15 miles per week in addition to riding my stationary bike twice per week, so with all of that cardio I need to eat more so I don't wither away to nothing, I have fuel for my workouts and recovery, and so I get enough nutrients!

The past couple of days I've been decreasing my carb intake (except for running days) and without all of those empty, nutrition-less carbs my Calorie intake has plummeted even though I feel so full! It's weird.

So, yeah, I have some work to do... must eat more nuts, avocados, dairy, and other Calorie-dense foods! emoticon

Sorry to hear that, but these things happen. Just let it go and start the day off fresh as if it didn't happen. If it does happen again, just repeat the starting over and letting go. Needs to get out of your system and NOT blame yourself for it and make yourself feel bad. That's the worst you can do.

Yes I did do the 30 DS and loved it. Now when I go back and do the different levels of the shred I try to up the intensity or weights. I also take no breaks. If I know jumping jacks are next then I start them even before Jillian says to. Stick with it as the changes in your body will be amazing. I am 47 and never thought I would have a flat stomach and muscle definition in my legs and arms. But I do.
