I have offically lost 30lbs! This morning my scale read: 138.2. I of course, have never seen this number before and was thrilled. My life is so different than it was 7 months ago. I am so confident and happy and most of all proud! I am very close to the final goal that I have set for close!

On another note, if you have read my story below, you know that I have had a rough go as far as pregnancy goes. Well, the good news is that all of my bloodwork is over...has been for a bit now, but things are going in the right direction. My husband and I are in a really good place now. We will be trying again soon for a successful pregnancy. Please keep us in your prayers!

So here we go....maintenance...I am on my way!

January 13, 2009- Hello Everyone!
I have been on and off of Spark for quite sometime now. Spark works. It is a great tool to help you reach your goals and stay on track, however, I have not been fully committed.

Last March (08') my husband and I decided to begin to try to get pregnant. I was very excited and since I had started Spark (again :-) in Jan, I was down a few pounds and feeling ready for this adventure. I found out I was pregnant June 08. I was shocked that it happened so quickly and we were both thrilled. This pregnancy ended quicker than it started though, as a chemical pregnancy. I was only 6 weeks.

Although we were devasted, we decided to wait 3 months and try again. However, we became pregnant again in August. Truly shocked this time because we really were not trying at all.

At 14wks I went in for my regular checkup only to discover there was no heartbeat. I was crushed. We all entire family. I was scheduled to have a D&C the very next morning. I was terrified, mad, many emotions I really cannot explain them all. The surgery took place on Nov 14, 2008.

Two weeks later I was told that I had a partial molar preganancy. This is a very rare type of pregnancy that never had a chance of survival. There was an extra set of chromosomes...this is extremely unlikely to happen again, however, it does not make it any easier. I was scheduled to go in weekly for blood work until my HcG levels were close to 0. Once that was achieved for 3 straight weeks I could begin to go in monthly for bloodwork. I would have to continue to do this for 6 straight months of registerinng close to 0.

Jan is the first monthly bloodwork. I was very lucky for my levels to go down so quickly. But all of this has really turned my life upside down. Because of the weekly bloodwork, it was very difficult to look at the miscarriage as over and to begin to grieve.

It really has been rough through all of this. I have used food to comfort me. I have used food b/c I am mad. I have used food to rebell.

Today, Jan 13, 2009 I weigh in at 167. I do not want to be this weight. I want to be healthy. I want to be confident and feel good about myself. I have many exciting events coming up in my life and I want to be able to experience them at my very best.

I know how to eat correctly. I have an elliptical machine in my house. I have no excuse. What I lack is self motivation and what I do is self sabatoge. I must figure out a way to not do this. I hope with the help of Spark and all of my friends here, I can reach my goal. I can live my life to the fullest.

Thank you for reading my story if you have gotten this far. Please know that this is not a pitty party, but I thought it would be good to actually type what has been going on in my life.

Drink water all day long...6-8 glasses a day.

Limit dt drinks. & alcohol.

Eat at least 3 fruits and 4 veggies per day.

NO binging.

Stay positive.

NO excuses.

Exercise most days of the week.

Focus on the wknds...this is the trouble time!

I WOULD LOVE TO BE A COMFORTABLE SIZE 8 IN JEANS!!!! **Achieved** Currently in a 6!

Now shooting for a size 4 in jeans.

Exercise 3-5 times a week...cardio.
