Schools out for Summer!!

I started this journey in December of 2006 and had lost 62 pounds. I gained most of it back and now I am struggling with my eating and losing weight in general. For me eating is the hard part, I can workout with no problems. I actually enjoyed a good cardio workout.

Now I just need to get back in the zone. I need to get back to that place where working out is a priority. I know that working out makes me feel better, now I just need to start doing it!!

My Goals:
My goal weight is 130. I don't think I have weighed 130 since I was in 8th grade lol.

I want to eat healthy so that when I have children I can teach them how to live a healthy lifestyle.

My Program:
Monday - Friday I wake up at 5am and do at least 20 minutes on the elliptical.

When I get to work I walk a mile in the Gym. I walk another mile when the children leave school.

I also try to get on the elliptical for another 30 minutes in the evening.



Personal Information:
I am 30 years old, and I live in IL. I am originally from NY and that is where all my family lives.

I have been fat pretty much my entire life, but reached my all time high of 264 in November 2006.

dude! i know what you mean about the family gatherings...

a lot of the time, it feels like i'll hurt their feelings if i don't eat what was made. or they tease me. iono.
similar thing, i guess, is when i'm with my gal pals back at school. they drink and snack, and we share stuff...and eventually all those little nibbles add up.

hey, at least it's good to know that when we're on our own, we're pretty much good to go. better choices, smaller portions...

i still think it's great of you to bring healthy stuff to parties, though. most of the things my mom has taught me to make are SO unhealthy (fried caramelized banana fritters and fruit cocktail slathered in cream cheese).



as for your weekend--well, our binge-y weekends haha--no worries. you have this week ahead of you, right? and you've already come so far, one little slip up here and there won't matter too much.
