My fitness journey ~ trying to get back in shape, and stay there!

I recently graduated from nursing school (yay!) but, managed to gain about 10lb during the school year (not yay). My goal is to either lose 10-15lbs or turn that weight into muscle. I just want to look and feel the best that I can, no matter what the scale says. That means no more muffin tops, or jiggly stomach! I also want to improve my nutrition and eat more healthy foods. I am a vegetarian, but I don't cook so well, so tend eat a lot of processed foods. I want to start eating more ...

My Goals:
I want to lose 10-15lb or turn that fat into muscle. Also, I'd like improve my overall nutrition by eating more whole foods and less processed garbage. Of course this means I will have to learn how to cook...

My Program:
I have begun to track my nutrition using the tools on this website. I also plan to workout with a trainer 2x per week for the next 6 mon. in addition to doing my own workouts at least 2x week.

Personal Information:
Currently living in Ferndale, MI.

Age: 29

In a relationship, with 2 cats and 1 dog. No children.

I enjoy a lot of activities, especially during the warm months, for example, bike riding, rollerblading, rollerskating (at the rink), jogging, walking, dancing, yoga, aerial arts (tissu, trapeze), and pole dancing (for fun, not work!).

Other Information:
I am looking for someone who shares similar fitness goals, that wouldn't mind meeting up and working out together. I also have a membership at LA Fitness, and wouldn't mind meeting up with someone there if possible.

I'm definitely looking a little better than I was a couple months ago, starting to see a little definition so I must be gaining muscle. Only have a couple workouts left for the first month, but the second month I'll try to eat more and get really insane!

That's great! Congratulations. I wish I could say the same, I'm on the 4th week and I haven't lost any weight but I'm seeing some big gains whenever I do the fit test.

I've never looked into it actually, I still try to go once or twice a week just to lift weights. I'd be curious to know as well though.
