HI! Welcome to my sparkpage. I guess when I set this page up I never really intorduced myself. So.... I joined sparkpeople in August 09 and since then I have lost 10 lbs and would like to loose maybe 5 more. I have made allot of friends and learned allot especially about myself. I will continue to use spark people even when I have lost all the weight I want. I still love to learn new things everyday and talk to people I wouldn't get to.

GOALS FOR 2011
Start back up on watching my carbs.. Keep up the exercise. It doesn't matter how much I exercise.. I won't see results if I am not eating clean!

take time for myself everyday- tan or exercise
pray often
stop and think b4 I eat
focus on healthy not just skinny
stop drinking pop
reward myself
Do things I love
Believe in my dreams!
Work on stress levels.
Be a good example to my kids

My Goals:
I have always had active job. I was in the military for four years and then was a fire-fighter for the forrest service for 4 yrs as well. Now that I have kids its time to be around more. so now I sit at a desk yuck!! I want to be healthy and able to enjoy the outdoors with my family.


My Program:
My program is to eat lo-carb and be active. I play sports year round and love to hike. It has been a struggle since I had a baby and work full time. TIRED all the time!

Workout Schedule

Mon: basketball or run
Tues: wights upperbody
Wed: walk hike or snowshoe
Thurs: weights lower body
Fri: run or bike
Sat: anything outdoors

    Yes, I use tapping when I am having difficulty controlling my emotions. It takes the edge off. I've spoken about tapping on the thyroid forum many times, as thyroid disease sometimes messes with our emotions making us more emotionally labile. Its amazing how well it works. Thankfully a situation hasn't come up recently that has required I do it. I use it primarily when I feel myself getting crazy over my younger sisters' cancer.

    I dont participate in the team as the Thyroid forum keeps me plenty busy. But I joined to show my support! I see you have too!
