After two children and a lazy attitude, I finally decided to get healthy again after I was challenged to run the Walt Disney World 1/2 Marathon. I have wanted to run this race for many years, but knew I was never physically capable of it. I started training in January 2006 and completed the race in January 2007. I lost 35 pounds in the process of training during 2006, now I am back at losing another 35 pounds and training for more races.

My Program:
My program is simple... eat less and exercise more. My exercise consists of running, walking and cross training. I also use the balance ball for core exercises. I have done WW and South Beach in the past with good results. But I needed a program that was natural for me. No counting, no thinking. No matter how I try to lose weight, I am a slow loser. The difference this time around is that I am enjoying my life more!
