HI! CONGRATS on your decision to participate in the “Let’s Get Busy!” Challenge!
PLEASE make yourself familiar with the rules and goals and be ready to post an “information only” template on Monday, January 26th. I will post that one-time template to use on Sunday evening . On Monday evening I will post the DAILY template to use that shouldn’t be started to use until TUESDAY. I hope this isn’t TOO confusing. It *is* different from most challenges that I run.
The POSTING BOARD that I will make on SUNDAY NIGHT will be for POSTS ONLY. NO chit-chat there, please. On Sunday night you will see the new thread along with MONDAY’S template. Post that any time on Monday. On Monday NIGHT I will post the DAILY TEMPLATE to use STARTING ON TUESDAY and to be used throughout the challenge.
Make sure you swing by the chat board associated with this challenge (where you signed up) daily – that’s where you can all offer support or just WOO HOOO. I ENCOURAGE the chat on that board. Remember, once you post, do NOT edit your post and DO NOT POST early in the day thinking that you will update it later as I will NOT go through them twice.
I will go to your page daily to leave you a comment that I have seen and recorded your post. If you post later in the evening or the next day I probably won’t get around to sending your comment until later as well. IF you should find that I don’t leave you a comment for a day that you posted, let me know so I can make sure that I *did* record your post.
If you miss more than 1 or 2 days I will go to your page and leave you a comment letting you know which days I’m missing on my Handy Dandy Spreadsheet. When you get this message from me, please post your catch-up dates ASAP and do not forget to include the DATE (Jan. 27, for example. NOT “Day 2” or “Tuesday” as I have the dates on my Handy Dandy Spreadsheet and I become “challenged” when having to count out days etc.)
If you find that you will be gone for a couple of days (weekend or whatever) let me know the duration and I will indicate that on my Handy Dandy Spreadsheet. I *will* go to your page on the day that you say you’ll return to remind you that you have a catch-up post to do. EVEN IF you do not complete any of the goals, please post your daily template anyway.
IF YOU SHOULD FIND that you CAN NOT continue this challenge for whatever reason, PLEASE give me the courtesy of letting me know.
I will be adding everyone who is on MY "Let's Get Busy Challenge" to my blog subscriptions so I can add your "points" in my Handy Dandy Spreadsheet when you post your "BLOG GOAL" - as you either don't have any blogs or your blog is set to private, I'll have to add you in once you do your first blog.
