Chasing Boston from Afghanistan: From 290 to 3:10:47
I joined to stay committed to a healthy lifestyle. After a dreadful Mar 08, I decided to change my life. At 290 lbs, the clock was ticking. As a result of healthy choices and a running regiment, I lost 130 pounds qualified for the 2011 Boston Marathon. After qualifying, I am now based in Afghanistan and am a member of the Brooks ID team. During this past year, I ran between 60-85 miles per week. I'm now trying rediscover form after 7 months out with an injury.

Originally from Southern California and now based in Afghanistan working doing communications.

I am a huge foodie and I love to travel. I've been to over 70 countries for work and pleasure.
