My Name is Sophie and I am a Foodie

I'm happy to be here, re-examining what I think I know about nutrition and exercise and paying attention to how much I actually follow that healthy path.

The good news-bad news so far is this. I was already eating pretty well (a little lacking in protein, perhaps) ... but since I don't need to make big changes there. Perhaps as a consequence, almost 4 weeks later, I haven't yet lost any weight.

Looks like maybe I need to really focus on exercise in the new year, huh?

Sophie, I really liked your comment on the cold turkey/moderation discussion - I too have found Spark helpful in determining portion sizes.

Don't be too discouraged about what the scale says - my weight loss was fast at first, but has slowed down. However, I am still losing inches, which means gaining muscle (better than losing weight in my opinion!).
