My life has gone from being the "Duchess of Don't Try" to a "Princes of Preparing-to-Change", and I am as of now and happily ever after being coronated as "Empress of (Healthy) Eating and Exercise". This cycle has been my life for a as long as I can remember (and I know that managing healthy eating and weight loss can be a royal pain), so I'm hoping that by my own decree I can make healthy changes, one at a time, stick for the rest of my life. My "crowning" glory so to speak.
I have three grown children, one husband (that's always enough), two grand daughters, and a very hectic job that keeps me stressed out and eating on the fly. This page is where I will come for my daily "mini vacations." Here is where I will visit with myself. This will be my tranquil castle, where I come to give ME some royal treatment (and when needed, a royal pep talk). My mind's castle is here to escape from the REAL world pressures, if only for a few moments, and give myself what I need to survive another overthrown royal plan.
Here is where I find the power to rule my life. Here is where I decree my unhealthy habits to be banned from the kingdom (I mean queendom) forever more.
One day at a time...one minute at a time...one second at a time to HEALTH.
Keep trying! When you fall, get up and get back in the race. (Sounds like a song, hum?)

I love to travel, read, go to the theatre, concerts, but I'd like to do all these without so much effort to get there. The extra weight is a drag on the woman I used to be and wish to be again.

I should take a water aerobics class but you won't catch me in a swimsuit! I did just dance for 16 minutes! I love dancing as you know but haven't done much but I am getting back to it!
