I'm really doing it. Goodbye 100 pounds!!!!
I'm slowly working my way down approximately 100 pounds that I need to lose. I'm doing this by being a happy Sparker and using and giving support, working on exercising in an effiecient way with my health problems and having a new relationship with food.
My goal is to focus on ten pounds at time, with the ultimate goal of losing 80-100 pounds. I figure I will know when I get there.
1. Change my relationship with food. Hunger or emotion?
2. Change things that aren't good for my health problems. i.e. delete salt
3. Maintain an active presence on Sparkpeople and with my support team and health coach
4. Increase amount of exercise as I can, push myself to do a bit more.
5. Continue my PT and have the patience to not over do it!
I am fortunate to live in incredibly beautiful Oregon. I love to garden and there's plenty here to work on year round. I spend a lot of time outdoors with Emily, our puppy. Hobbies include, cooking, reading, beading, gardening, sewing or anything that can catch my interest.

Thanks for the comment on my Boys! They are the best, We prefer Shepherd too! They are my heart, sweet and loyal. They go everywhere with us. And they also keep me motivated because they demand two walks a day. So usually it is two hours a day or they make our life miserable. Congratulations on your Spark journey. Keep it up!

As a child I saw Tarzan almost naked swinging from trees
and talking to animals. There was Cinderella that came
home after midnight, Pinocchio told lies and Aladdin was
a thief. Batman drove over 200 miles an hour. Snow White lived
in a house with 7 men, Popeye smoked a pipe and had tattoos.
Pac Man ran around to digital music while eating pills that
enhanced his performance. Shaggy and Scobby were mystery solving hippies that always had the munchies (just saying). Pigs talked and blew down homes, Goldilocks was a small child walking alone in the woods, broke into the three bears home and ate their food and broke their chairs. Little Red Riding- Hood also went into the woods alone. Superman flew everywhere and jumped into strangers windows. The Tasmanian Devil was just destructive. Charlie Brown was always depressed and downing himself. Men jumped over the moon, and Humpty Dumpty could not even sit on a wall. Robin Hood got praises for robbery. Jack and Jill could couldn't carry even a bucket of water and Jill didn't learn anything from Jacks fall. Little Bo-Peep lost the sheep, Wee Willie Winkie runs through the town, Upstairs and downstairs in his nightgown, Rapping at the window, crying through the lock scarring to death. OMG, Let's not forget MR. Bean and Pee-Wee Herman real role models.
I was always lied to there is no Tooth Fairy, no Santa
Clause or Easter Bunny. Hummmmm, I think I turned out just fine - just saying.
Just another 'proof' that The Bible is the best story book to raise our kids and grandchildren.

I really appreciate your comment on my frustrations blog. I'm finishing a book on Lupus, and the woman in it talks about how she adopted a more positive attitude, and how it's helped her. I've been working on that, but I never thought about viewing my body differently. Thanks for sharing that, it's really helpful. I'm going to try seeing it your way, as well.
You totally caught me off guard, saying my blogs help you. I never thought my thoughts and craziness and talking myself through things could help someone else, but now I'm so glad I've posted all that. Sometimes I wonder if I should keep it to myself! But I'm glad you find some help in my nuttiness :)
