reclaiming my body
I started SP in Sping of 2011 and lost 32lbs but then the biggest reason for my weight problem became known. I had endometriosis and fibromatosis. So I was dealing with CRAZY hormone levels, WACKY thyroid, and an painful enlarged uterus. I am currently 7 weeks post op from a full hysterectomy and I am just feeling incredible! I started SP in Sping of 2011 and lost 32lbs but then the biggest reason for my weight problem became known. I had endometriosis and fibromatosis. So I was dealing with CRAZY hormone levels, WACKY thyroid, and an painful enlarged uterus. I am currently 7 weeks post op from a full hysterectomy and I am just feeling incredible! Its really night and day. I had no idea how uncomfortable I had been until it was removed. So with a new found self ownership and a doctor's okay, I am starting anew. Today I joined a local gym, got a personal trainer who I meet tomorrow, and I have begun dancing again. I figure this is an excellent time to begin again with SparkPeople. Besides all the medical drama, I am a mom of three and am living in Minnesota with my wonderful honny. I am obsessed with dance and bellydance owns my dancers heart. =) I teach dance professionally (*love*) and spend a lot of my free time dancing or with my family.

My Goals:
Scale-less goal: I want to get back into my closet. I have alot of clothes that I love to wear and cannot get my thigh into them. So my goal regardless of scale weight is getting back in them and look correct in them too. =) Sacle Goal: Would be awesome to lose around 88 pound. I went to this number because pre-illness this is the number I had maniatined most of my adult life. My goal is set for december 2012. So 5-7 lbs per mo would be incredible! I know I will have good and bad months and I just need to keep doing.
My Program:
Yoga, Dance, Swim, Weight Trainning, and kick boxing! Eat right. Love my family Laugh with my friends. Be active daily!
Personal Information:
I used to... - eat less and drink water more then I should. This is killing my digestive system. -starve myself all day and then have one big meal at night. -eat packaged food thinking the extra calories would balance out the lack of eating throughout my day. -make jokes about my body, like I have a wine & cheese body... comments may be funny but the belly roll should be a dance move NOT a Hip belt issue!
