My goals are:
1) lose weight
2) eat healthier

5) keep it off
6) maintain a healthier life from this point forward

My Program:
I joined a gym, and that's where I make use of the cardio machines, sometimes going on the weight machines.

At home, I do my workout videos, choosing from such excellent programs as Insanity, Hip Hop Abs, Rockin' Body, and two videos from P90X. I sometimes "play" The Biggest Loser video game on my Wii, and I go for a lot of good walks with a friend.

Lol, it's about 1.7 km one way to my daughters pre-school, so that ads up to about 7 km each day she goes. I probably don't walk as fast as you, and It takes a bit longer with a 4 year old too, plus the crossing roads/traffic lights. But then I'm not counting when I take a detour to the mall and wander around.

It doesn't seem like much compared to what your friend does, but it's a lot better than what I used to do.
Before she started pre-school I would only walk once or twice a week, and not for that long either.
