Time for another 5% Challenge.

Now that my body is for the most part healed, I am excited to start another challenge and get my weight loss going in the right direction again. i have been fairly good about not having a lot of junk food in the house. I can do better. Ice Cream has been an issue so out it goes. As for everything else, I have been sticking to getting a little processed food as possible so it is all pretty healthy. Whole grains and lots of fruits and veggies.

I will continue to eat what I have been eating with the exception of ice cream and pastries. I just intend to pay better attention to portion control. I believe that is the key to weight loss for me. I will step up the exercise again since my body is better equipped to handle it now. My goal is to do some kind of exercise for at least 20 minutes a day at least 5 days a week. I will check my team boards and post as often as I can to the discussions. I will weigh every Saturday and post it. I will track all of my Living the Good Life and Exercise points as needed.

I can't wait to get started on this and see what my new body looks like at the end.

In addition to these goals I would like to walk a 5K by Nov. 30.
I would like to walk/run a 5K by Dec 30.
I want to Run the 5K at our July 4th parade.

I have rewards setup for different weight/clothing size markers but in addition to those I will be placing a dollar in a jar for every week that I workout for at least 3 hours. I will add a dollar for each week that I drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. I will add a dollar for each week that I stay in my calorie range every day. I will add a dollar for each week that I can consume at least 5 servings of Freggies every day.


My Program:
I will be following a Spark Plan as closely as possible. I may not follow the meal plan completely but I will do my best to stay in my calorie range and I will be exercising for at least 3 hours a week. This will not be a problem as my kids are home schooled and their physical fitness requirements are to exercise at least 3 hours a week. We will be going to the gym as a family.
