The Part Where I Lose Weight!

Hi, my name is Anna and I'm 28 years old. I'm looking to lose weight with the help of SparkPeople. I'm currently introducing myself to Keto (low carb) to help keep my weight in check. I am also currently on Jenny Craig for official weigh ins only. I was on it for a year and lost 50 pounds, but now it's time to be on my own! Other than that I'm feeling better than I have in a long while. I've lost about 85 pounds so far and plan to lose more!

My Goals:
Going to try out these smaller weight loss goals and see how they work for me!

My first goal is to be 215 by the end of January 2011. [Goal met 1/24/11]

Second goal is to be 210 by the end of February 2011. [Goal met 2/21/11]

Third goal is to be 203 by March 14th 2011. [Goal kinda met! 203.8 counts right? lol]

Fourth goal is to be 200 by the end of March 2011! [A few days late on this one but I still made it on 4/04/11!]

Fifth goal is to be in the 180's by the end of June 2011. [I kept pushing this back, but I hit this the 8th of August :)]

Sixth goal is to be in the 170's by the end of October 2011! Giving myself more time this time! [Reached this at the end of November!]

Seventh goal is to be in the 160's by the end of February 2012! [Reached this April 1st!]

Eighth goal is to be in the 150's by my birthday November 2012. Extended because reasons.

My Program:
I generally keep myself around 1200 calories for starters. As for exercise, I'm starting to really mix it up. Here is a list of exercises I enjoy:

- Yoga
- Weights
- Couch to 5k
- Zumba
- Dance Central

And whatever else I can throw in there! Somewhere along the way I just fell in love with exercise. Good for me!

I'm 5'3"!

Well, I'm still jealous, you weigh like 20lb less than me! emoticon

Being busy keeps me from sitting at home and eating out of boredom and from being depressed (and therefore eating lol), so it's a double-edged sword! I think that's how I ended up gaining back 10lb, I kind of didn't care over the winter/holidays and was sitting at home a lot. I didn't even know what to do with my newfound free time! lol And I'm sure the excessive beer consumption at that point didn't help, either. emoticon emoticon

I unfortunately did not do so well over the holidays, and shot back up to 190s. Finally back into the 180s (barely), having a hard time getting myself back into ketosis.

Haha! It does take the fun out of it... One day we'll fit all nice and cozy in our tubs. I have one of those bath pillows so I could literally fall asleep in there, but it gets a little uncomfortable after awhile.

Congrats on your Iron girl time! I was signed up this year, but ended up going out of town that weekend. Can't wait until next year. Good luck on your goals!
