Going the Distance

Today- 3/310 170 pounds! Ouch!
This is the most I've ever weighed and I am so disappointed :(

I have been a sparker for many years, but this time, I am serious about exercising and eating healthfully for the rest of my life.

In High School, I became a vegetarian to be more conscious of what I ate. I still eat meatless today, but struggle with about twenty extra pounds-my goal is to lose 30 pounds during the next few months- and keep it off for life!

Being a college student is not exactly conducive to losing weight. But, I plan on giving it my best shot so I can feel healthier, happier, and more energetic.

-lose 5 pounds per month, which would mean that by June 1st I'd achieve my weight loss goal of 135


My Program:
-restart the C25k running plan
-2 or 3 group fitness classes per week
-stick to a mostly vegan diet
-1 Turbo Jam workout a week

I have always been a bigger girl and was able to keep my weight stable, but after some health issues I just began to gain for a while and now Im here! I have just been eating healthier and I have begun a training program to run a 5K in May! So I am hoping this will help me get onto a routine to stick to! I am just ending week 4 of the 8 week program, so I am halfway there and I have seen quite an improvement, but not as much as I was hoping for! So I am going to stick with it, set small goals for myself and reach the big goal at the end! I have heard nothjing but good things about the Slimfast plan!!
