Happier than ever!

I just entered my 30's and have been through quite a few changes in my life already - got divorced, lost my house and changed jobs all within a couple of months. I had also been teaching Zumba, but stopped after I couldn't sustain the stress of everything that was going on in my life, even though that was the most healthy thing I was doing for myself. With all the changes, I had experienced unhealthy weight loss and then weight gain after taking a break from Zumba.

With all the changes, I had experienced unhealthy weight loss and then weight gain after taking a break from Zumba.

When I was least expecting it, the most amazing man came into my life and changed it forever! There's not a day that goes by that we don't laugh or tell eachother how much we appreciate and love one another. Together, we go to yoga, train for races and take long walks to stay healthy. I recently started teaching Zumba again, which has kicked me into full gear to start tracking my food, exercise, and weight. I have been on and off SparkPeople for the last couple of years, but I am creating this page to help me stay accountable in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle in preparation for the upcoming years when we decide to get married and have children.

I truly feel that this is the healthiest I have ever been - mind, body and soul!

Thanks for the goodie! (I'll be using my jogging stroller a LOT this spring!)

There are so many great races in the area, I'm sure you'll have no problem finding one! I'm doing a couple in Pawtucket/Providence in May, and then the Rock 'n Roll again in September.
