When you KNOW better... You DO better...

Hi! I'm Michelle. I have fallen off the wagon once again but I had good reason! My husband returned home from a year long tour in Iraq and we celebrated for 3 weeks straight by goin go the Dominican Republic for a much needed vacation and then we simply layed around the house and did nothing but indulge in all of favorite fattening foods. Well, it's time to get back in gear. I have my Air Force fitness test coming up in the next 3 weeks and even though I could pass it today, I want to EXCEED ...
Hi! I'm Michelle. I have fallen off the wagon once again but I had good reason! My husband returned home from a year long tour in Iraq and we celebrated for 3 weeks straight by goin go the Dominican Republic for a much needed vacation and then we simply layed around the house and did nothing but indulge in all of favorite fattening foods. Well, it's time to get back in gear. I have my Air Force fitness test coming up in the next 3 weeks and even though I could pass it today, I want to EXCEED the Good category and I am striving for the Excellent category.
The test consists of a mile and a half run, 1 minute of pushups, 1 minute of sit-ups and an abdominal circumference measurement.
With God all things are possible! Sooo, with some committment on my part I have failth that this goal is totally achievable with the tools that Sparkpeople provides and my "SparkPEEPS"

My Program:
I follow The 6-Week Body Makeover Weight Loss Plan and it is the only thing that has ever worked for me. I try to stay between 1200 & 1400 calories per day.
I drink at least 100oz of water per day and I have given up soda completely. I decreased my bread intake to having it with only one meal if I have any at all.
I speedwalk 3 miles per day 4 times per week and try to run a few miles a couple of times per week too just to keep my body guessing.
I would like to commit to lifting weights too so that I can get a more sculpted look eventually.

Other Information:
I am trying to focus on things that I enjoy "OTHER THAN FOOD" So here goes....
I enjoy a good book, I enjoy a good massage at my favorite day spa "Essence of Skin". I enjoy a good movie and spending time with my husband, friends and family. I believe that ALL things are possible with God especially when I want to cheat and eat something bad or skip on exercising!

Hello my name is Monica I have to tell you that you very pretty & i like the short bob cut on you. You look good in a 2 piece I would not have the courage to put one on not even it i was paid a million $$. I must say in ur b\4 pix were not bad @ all I know as a woman if we're not happy with out bodies then it doesn't matter what anyone says. I am hoping we can talk and share diet ideas and workout tips
