I'm learning that life is a balancing act. Work and home, responsibility and fun, energy and relaxation, yada yada yada, are all finding their proper places in my life. Sparkpeople is a part of that ever growing process, and I'm glad it's here.
I want to be healthy and happy. Everything else is just the cherry on the (low-fat frozen yogurt with dark chocolate syrup and sunflower seeds) sundae!
I am focusing on incorporating daily healthy eating and daily exercise into my life. I am also focusing on keeping everything in balance, which actually might be the hardest part of all.
I'm a wife, mom, daughter, sister, teacher, friend, singer, crafter, foodie, football fan, bunco babe, reader, wannabe chef, and wino. It's a varied list, to be sure, but it keeps life spicy!
Favorite movie: Muriel's Wedding, because there's a little bit of Muriel in all of us!
Favorite book: I'd say Persuasion, but it's a bad female stereotype. So instead, I'll say Memoirs of a Geisha.
Favorite Food: watermelon, bell peppers, anything chocolate
Favorite Activity: hanging out with my family, be it going to a football game, hanging out at home, or traveling.
