Phoenix, Dec 19
I believe that dragons are real, all girls are princesses, chivalry isn't dead, and that everyone truly is a good person.
I read sci-fantasy novels, play World of Warcraft and the SIMS, and believe that "Auntie Mame" is the best movie ever made.
I LOVE to cook, and since I'm half Italian, nothing I make is low-anything. I admit that I am fundamentally lazy, and would rather read, watch a movie or surf the 'net than get up and take a walk.
BUT... I have realized that even though my husband is one of those wonderful men that believe that women are supposed to be curvy... those curves need to be in the right place, and in the right proportions. I'm shooting for Marilyn Monroe by next summer!
UPDATE: JANUARY 13, 2009:
It is a new year and a newer me! I have made it to halfway of my weight loss goal, and have never been happier to say goodbye to anything. This means that I am just a bit smaller than I was when I got married in 2001.
I am disappointed over the closing of the LA Weight Loss Center, as I feel it is a successful program, but I will perservere and check with my doctor about healthy alternatives to keep me on a healthy downward track.
I may not get to Marilyn Monroe by this summer, but 75 pounds in a year makes me feel great! I did it once, I can do it again, so I should be ready for that trip to Italy next year (pocketbook willing). I have been informed, however, that if I keep my hair the color it is, I have to aim for Rita Hayworth.
Currently at 220 pounds.
Goal weight between 145 & 150.
Losing 1.5 - 2 pounds per week puts me at goal for Christmas 2009.
I would like to be below 200 pounds by May 19 to celebrate my anniversary.
Start some kind of fitness program so I actually look good in the new clothes I'll have to buy.
Started LA Weight Loss program on 1-13.
