Hey there! I'm a student and working artist, poet, and fiction writer. I joined this site because a long time ago, on my 25th birthday, I got a fortune cookie unlike any I'd received prior or since: THE GALACTIC WIZARD HAS RESERVED A SEAT FOR YOU ON HIS STARSHIP RIDE! That said, I really want to be able to make the weight limit for said craft (har har har!), but more importantly, I wanna be the same weight or less than I was when I was 25! IT'S TIME! Let the FUN begin!

My Goals:
I'm waaayyyy too young for it, but I wanna get to 168 (my approximate 25th birthday weight) by my joint replacement surgery date, Spring 2010!!!!

My Program:
YOU ON A DIET
EAT TO LIVE
(combo of above as I am 85% vegan)
Walk 5 X Week
Work Out 10-30 min 3-5 X a Week
Journal 5 X Week
Keep Track of Food Daily, cuz this is where I really cheat!
Drink NO Coca~Cola!
No FOOD Rewards!!!

Thanks for your comment on my blog!

I wanted to answer your question about the food I was eating to lose weight but my advice to you would be, that it is much more about the exercise I am doing that has worked for me.

Yeah, you have to eat really good as well but I believe having a structured routine that works for you will be the biggest help towards your goal.

Have a look at my spark page, my exercise plan is down the side- it may seem a lot but I have been able to find time to fit it all in, it really isn't that hard once you get going.

Just for reference though, a typical days food for me would be:

Breakfast: 2 slices of wholewheat toast with low sugar jam

Lunch: Hot chicken and veg salad

Dinner: Salmon and boiled potatoes with a big serving of salad or vegetables,

Snacks: Almonds, yoghurt, variety of fruit.

And I allow myself a treat most days but only when I know I'll be able to control my portion size!!
