Aw...where do I start? In my early 20's I was pretty fit, didn't eat all that well (a lot of processed foods ect...) but I exercised. When I met my husband I looked pretty good. Then we had 2 kids and I let myself go. My highest weight was 222 lbs a year ago, right after my son was born. I was miserable. I realized that I wasn't being a good role model to my children. I was tired, fat, stressed out and literally unhappy. I was starting to notice that I was having little to no tolerance for my husband or my kids. It took a lot to admit that it was actually ME that I was mad at and they happened to be the ones I took it out on.
I decided it was time to change my life. I realized I had to let go of the past and stop living in it or I would never be able to go forward. I decided it was up to me to write my future. So, I started to exercise and eat whole foods. My best girl back home has been practicing Yoga for a few years now and I decided to try it one day. I will never look back. I can't believe how quickly this lifestyle change has changed my life. Eating whole foods, practing yoga and walking is the best thing that has happened to me. I am no longer tired or impatient with my family. I actually enjoy life again. It feels great. I am excited about my new life and to meet others who share the same love for taking care of ourselves. This is a life long venture and it really is a lot of fun!!!!

My Goals:
My goal is to get mind, body and spirit in line by practicing a meditation/ yoga/walking program in addition to a cardio program by BeachBody. I will commit to replacing one meal a day with a Shakeology Shake and track the remainder of my calories.

5/1/11 - Started walking/Yoga

6/8/11- started Hip Hop Abs



Drinking water!!!!!
