Striving for Health

I lost 50 lbs. with Weight Watchers. Got off Cholesterol and blood pressure meds. Then got Rheumatoid Arthritis, had 2 should repair surgeries when my bones cut through my rotator cuffs, and my weight loss came to a stand still, but for 7 years have kept that weight off. Now I'm using Spark People and getting results again. Still struggling with pain, medications, etc., but grateful and determined.

Hi Jan Buddy; You asked how I like the water jogging and how my feet like it? I loved it and it was mainly in the deep end, so my feet weren't even touching the floor. I just moved around like I was walking on air and I felt so good afterwards. They do have what they call foam belts, and are used for the classes, she told me. I didn't need one of those because I can float so easy. I have found out that I really love swimming. emoticon Thanks for all your help and encouragement. I don't think I could do it without you and all of my other SP friends!! emoticon emoticon And yes, you're like a gift to me with a bright red bow!! emoticon

Happy Monday to you, Janis. I was re-reading your comments on my page about swimming, and you already told me about using the noodle to ride like a pony, just like my friend was talking about. Also, I looked it up, and the stroke that I love doing the most, is called the Breaststroke. So I can log that if I find it on the tracker. Thank you for all your help!

About the foam belts, would that be what they call "noodles"? A friend of mine was telling me that you can straddle them and ride your "bike" from the side of the pool to the other. And other things. emoticon
