My goals are to lose weight, beat anxiety and depression and move into a sustainable lifestyle with regular exercise and healthy eating.
The sustainability is as important to me as the weight loss - this has to be something I can maintain longterm, I cannot keep on playing yoyo.
Before my first pregnancy I weighed 154 lbs. During the pregnancy I put on 30 lbs, lost it, got pregnant again, put it on again, lost it again, maintained for five years, got pregnant again, put it on again, didn't lose it and just kept piling it on and on until I hit 220 lbs and finally said enough is enough.
Latest update - 20 weeks with SparkPeople 44 pounds lost as at 14th March.
Antidepressant free for five weeks!

Firstly, I'm tracking everything I do into Spark People. Food and fitness. I love number crunching, so the graphs and stats are great for me.
I'm exercising every day - some cardio, some stretching, and drinking my 8 glasses of water. It seems to be working so far.
I'm from Slough, which is a town just outside of London in the UK.
I'm 43, married with 3 children.
In October 2009 I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression following the death of my beloved Grandma. I was in a very bad state, lost my job, became agrophobic, had panic attacks and stopped caring for myself in every way. I put on a lot of weight during this time. Now, thanks to my wonderful family, my GP and counsellor I am much better - and still taking one step up out of the dark pit every single day.
I'm in the middle of writing a series of science fiction novels. Haven't managed to find an agent yet and might end up trying to sell electronically through Amazon or the like, but at least while I'm writing I'm not eating or feeling sorry for myself, so they're as much therapy as art.
