Stopping the head hunger!

I am a mother of 4. I have had gastric bypass but have gained back 13 of the 60 lbs lost. I need to stop the head hunger and learn to eat right. I work full time and will be joining a chorus soon to give myself something to do that is for me.

My Goals:
I want to lose the 13 lbs that I have gained since surgery in 2009 and then make it down to 140.

My Program:
I plan on taking it one day at a time and just sticking it to it whether I fall off my program for a meal I will get back on the life style change horse. i will also work very hard on my head and stopping the head hunger.

Personal Information:
My name is Jane and I am from Santa Rosa CA. I have lived here my whole life, 40+ years. I am raising my family in the home I grew up in and very proud to be doing so. I love being a mom.

Other Information:
I need help finding a hobby to get my mind off food and being bored. I would also like to be able to set some real goals and not feel that just because someone else has already done it that I can. My husband has run a full marathon there fore I feel that it would not be a big accomplishment anymore because he already did it. :(

I was very inspired by the comment you left on SUGARBABY's blog. I admire that you had the courage and self acceptance to share that you are a food addict at work, and am so happy to hear that the result was more support. So often, I try to keep my weaknesses secret and I shortchange myself of support from others and support to others who struggle with similar things. I am learning to be more open and less secretive as a side benefit to being on Spark People. I no longer fear the criticism of others so much, because I have this steady support system here that is always so positive and accepting. I hope your experience on Spark will be equally positive! Welcome!
