Over the last 10 years, ever since I hit puberty, I have put on an enormous amount of weight. I went through a phase when I was 17 where I lost a huge amount of weight by taking up running and a very strict diet, and it stayed off for some time. However, life happened, and these interventions, as well-intentioned as they were, were unsustainable. Moving to a well-developed country means I have continued to put on weight over the course of 3 years, surrounded by food, and studying at university. ...

I went through a phase when I was 17 where I lost a huge amount of weight by taking up running and a very strict diet, and it stayed off for some time. However, life happened, and these interventions, as well-intentioned as they were, were unsustainable. Moving to a well-developed country means I have continued to put on weight over the course of 3 years, surrounded by food, and studying at university. I'm determined to reach my goal of weighing 65 kilos by the end of this year, 2011!

My Goals:
To be able to run for an hour without stopping.
To be able to play sports without feeling embarrassed.
To be a healthy weight.
To be able to sport a bikini.
To learn how to eat healthily.

My Program:
I have just joined my local gym and hope to go at least 4 times a week, as well as to do swimming.
I am aiming to keep my calorie intake low and not have sessions of 'pigging out'.

Other Information:
Be willing to surrender what you are, for what you could become.

Change happens, one step at a time, decision by decision..
