I am just fed up with being fat! This is it! I'm not gonna take it anymore! I will be responsible for my own actions and take responsibility for what I've done to my body. I am starting this program with an 18lb loss under my belt (so to speak) and 109 more to go. I will trust in God that He will help me to have the strength that I need to go on.

2008 Addendum:
I did pretty good in '07 & finished the year out with a 60lb loss. I'd like to lose an additional 60lbs eventually, but I'm grateful for what I've done so far. I know now that I don't have to be fat my whole life. I can change & I have! There's no turning back now! I've gotten a taste of what being healthy can feel like & I'm not giving up. You can do it too! It ain't easy, but it's worth it. If you're looking for a quick fix, there isn't one. You might lose weight quickly, but chances are it's going to come right back. Take your time & lose it slowly. Don't give up. If the Lord brings you to it, he will help you through it.

2009 - Well, I am back. After being a slacker, here I am again. I've had a lot of things happen last year & I'm ashamed to say that I've tried to handle it all with food. The good news is.......here I am again. I have not weighed at this point to see what the damage is, but I will. I have to be honest with myself or I'll be back in the same boat that I was in before. Wish me luck and say a prayer for me 'cause I'm not giving up!!!!!!!
(Upon weighing, I have gained 22lbs since last record)

Try to prepare as much in advance as possible.
