86 days now cigarette free!! Battling high blood sugars and old injuries from 35 years ago but I will survive!! My girls and I are going to go to an all class reunion at my high school in Dallas. I graduated in 1974, 39 years ago. Looking forward to reuniting with old friends as well as making some new ones! We have an entire day of "girl" activities planned ending with a "Toe Party" at my cousins house. My 5 year old granddaughter can't wait! Have a great weekend dear Spark friends!

53 days now cigarette free!! Went to the doctor yesterday to have my blood work done and found out that since I have quit, I no longer have a high white blood cell count and my lungs are no longer inflamed. what great news!! emoticon

Gonna miss reading and hearing about my Spark Friends for the next week. Headed to San Antonio for spring break with the family. I am taking my paper journal but may not have daily access to a computer. Keep on sparking friends!! emoticon

As of today, I am no longer a smoker!! Having indulged in the habit off and on for more than two thirds of my life, I am done!! Spark People has given me the extra boost I needed to know that I can do this!! I have my backups ready...sugar free cough drops, hard candy, and a straw to chew on. Learning how to stay busy to keep from binge eating has helped prepare me for this new change!! I will keep you posted on my results and want to give thanks to God for giving me the courage to go forward! Have a blessed weekend dear Spark friends!!
