Hi! Thanks for answering me. C25K stands for "Couch to 5K." It is a training program for people new to running, and boy am I new to running. I'm not even sure I can do it yet, but I'm going to try. So far I can do 2 miles under time but I haven't made 3 miles yet. Right now I have two main goals. One is to run a 5K (just over 3 miles) in the spring, and the other is to lose 10 more pounds. After that, we'll see. Sparkpeople has an article on goal buddies in their articles section under Motivation. That's where I got the idea to try and find someone close to my age with similar goals to be a goal buddy with. I think we should set some short term goals and check in with each other to offer support. What do you think? 2613 days ago
