I have been overweight almost all of my adult life. Now with a new grandson can't have my knees aching when he wants to get up and go. This is the time. My starting weight October 16, 2009 was 240LBS. Well I fell off the wagon the first half of 2011 and lost ground and am back up to 235. It is now March 2013....I have retired after 30+ years of working for the Federal government... TIME TO GET SERIOUS!

LONG TERM GOAL: Have a healthier and happy me as I move forward on my journey to retirement What that looks like: 1.Sensible Weight 2.Continued fitness plan 3.Close relationship with my daughter and grandson as we move forward January 2011: Focus on short streaks. 1. Workout minimum 10 minutes per day 2. Drink 100 oz. of water. 3.Record my nutrition and activities in SPARK 4. Goal: Be consistent.

I am on a program low in sodium and carbohydrates. Focusing on moving and exercising consistently.
