I'm back and starting over. I'm now starting much heavier than I was when I first joined and put my weight loss goals down slightly....I've now got 61 pounds to lose by August 30, 2011. I feel so defeated....I seriously need help and a buddy that's going to kick my rear into gear! HELP!

My fiance and I changed our wedding date from April 2011 to September 24, 2011 so I am so serious about losing those 61 evil pounds...I'm back at 211 lbs and want to get down to 150 lbs by the end of August and think I can do it in about 7 months if I work hard and stick to what I need to stick to to get it done. I've been happy but depressed at the same time. I bought my dress and I love the dress but I REFUSE to be a "fat bride."

I'm Jamie, 34 year old single mom (I'll be 35 on June 1st) living in the Harrisburg, PA area. I have 2 beautiful little boys....Ethan will be 7 years old March 23rd and Zachary is 4 1/2 yrs and will be 5 August 12th. I work in the Mental Health field and am often very mentally drained at the end of the day. I suffer from anxiety disorder, panic disorder with agoraphobia, dysthemia, and Bipolar on the anxiety spectrum. So I have my plate full. I'm aiming for exactly 1 month before my wedding (August 30, 2011) to lose my weight. I REALLLY need a buddy or two (or 3 or 10!! lol) to motivate me and help me get myself going....I would love to find some single moms also in my area that are looking for buddies or want another buddy for support and motivation and even a walking/exercise partner. I'm just so sick of the way I look and I'm done fighting this fight...I've got a new war to win!!!

My goals are:

1. Stop drinking soda and start drinking at least 8-10 8oz glasses of water per day

2. Start doing more walking as my cardio 3+ days per week

3. Eat healthier foods with more fruits and veggies.

4. QUIT SMOKING!!!!!!


My Program:
- 1200 1500 calorie diet

- 8-10 8oz glasses of water

- cardio 3+ times per week (walking, hiking)

    Something that may help is to cut this down into much cmaller chunks - each week how much do you want to lose - be reasonable - I know you want to lose ALL the weight before the wedding but is that achievable in a long lasting way - can't remember the calculation so maybe it is? So - track each week, put your goals down on your Sparkpage, track your nutrition etc It feels a bit laborious to start BUT it keeps your head in the game and focused which is the most important thing.

    We're all here willing you to succeed because we all want for you what we want for ourselves:)
